Assassin's Creed 3 (the game with the REALLY hot dude in it).

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please visit Amazon.com to get your own copy of Assassin's Creed 3, today's Gold Box Deal of the Day! I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. All opinions are my own.

Have y’all seen this game yet? Dude is hot in it!!!

'sup sexy?

Okay, aside from the hot game guy, this game looks completely amazing. I am a huge history buff and this game takes place during the American Revolution.  It has tons of history in it, so if you are okay with your seeing tons of violence, blood, guts and gore, they might learn something!

But honestly ladies, this is a game for your husband/ boyfriend/ brother/ dad/ random dude in your life and gamer chick friends. The AC series is super popular, and most “gamers” worth there worth play this one. I like to watch it, it’s like watching a movie, sometimes on replete, but it’s still fun to watch.

I’m not going to lie, my toddler has also played AC2, granted, he just made the guy jump up and down, up and down. He still played it. This made it to where I could cook dinner and do some dishes; I’m calling it a win. Judge me!

Once I get my hands on the game I plan on pulling my big leather chair up to the TV with some snack, some Red Bull and play all night, get down and cozy with the hot dude out to avenge his family’s death. I mean what else says “holidays” right?

Right now you can get Assassin’s Creed 3 on sale from Amazon- it’s one of the “Gold Box Deals of the Day” for $33 bucks! If you have Prime (and really, who doesn’t?) you get free 2 day shipping. You’re welcome for doing some of your Christmas shopping for you J

ALSO! You have a chance to win a copy of Assassin’s Creed 3 from Clever Girls! They are giving away five copies if you just do a wee bit of re-tweeting. I will make it easy for you to c&p okay?

Poptropica Adventures

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please click here to learn more about Ubisoft. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. #UbiChamps

You guys? This looks like a kids game, but it's hard! Maybe smart kids can get it, but I actually had a hard time.

The game starts out with you creating a character, which is The Toddlers favorite part because he likes to make all these goofy characters that apparently look “just like Mommy”.  Okay.  Once you make your guy (or gal) you have a short little tutorial in the museum that you are trying to “save”. The curator explains that when you help out the people on the islands you get artifacts to bring back to the museum and bam! The people will come. Makes sense right?

The Toddler Potter playing Poptropica Adventures
From the museum you get to pick which island you go to. I picked the Greek island. It’s pretty cool, especially if you’re into mythology. There you meet up with Hermes (he’s the mailman for the God’s BTW) and since he lost his hat you have to help him deliver his letters.  In order to get to the God you need to deliver to you have to do all sorts of little tasks to get to their thrones. I will fully admit that I am stuck in this one; I can’t find one of Artemis’s arrows. I swear I have looked all over the damn island but I’m missing something. Boo hiss.

My other favorite was the Super Power Island. In this one you are trying to recover comics that were stolen from the comic shop, you do some mazes and other little mini games to get the comics back to the shop. This level was pretty easy for The Toddler too.

Guys, I think this is a great game. I’m def going to look into the other ones. I thought it would be a little more kid friendly and aimed more at the younger crowd due to the cartoony look of it. But some of it is hard! Or maybe I am just dumb haha.

If you are interested in picking up Poptropica Adventures it is available for the Nintendo DS on both Amazon and Toys R Us. It would make a great stocking stuffer!
